Privacy Policy

Who we are

AutoAlbum (autoalbum.app) lets event hosts collect photos from their guests via a QR code. This policy explains what data we handle and why.

Photos

We do not store guest photos on our servers. When a guest uploads a photo it is passed directly into the event host's own Google Drive. The host controls those files in their Google account.

What we store

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website (e.g. pages viewed, general location, device type, and how people interact with pages). These services may set cookies and collect usage data as described in Google's privacy policy and Microsoft's privacy statement. We use this to improve the site, not to identify individual guests uploading photos.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

Google data

When you connect Google Drive, we request the drive.file permission only. This lets AutoAlbum create a folder in your Drive and add photos guests upload. We do not read, list, view, or access any other files in your Google Drive.

Limited Use disclosure

AutoAlbum's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide this service (saving photos to your Drive).

Your choices

You can disconnect Google access at any time from your Google account permissions. You can request deletion of your event data by contacting us.
