Questions, answered

What is an event QR code for guest photos?

It is a printable code you place at your venue. Guests scan it with their phone camera to open a simple upload page. With AutoAlbum, every photo goes straight into a folder in your Google Drive — ideal for weddings, birthdays, and reunions.

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. They scan the QR code with their phone’s camera and a web page opens where they can upload photos. Nothing to install.

Where are the photos stored?

Directly in a folder in your own Google Drive. We never store your photos. We just move them from your guests into your Drive.

Is it private?

Yes. The collected photos live in your private Google Drive and are only visible to you unless you choose to share them.

When do I pay?

You can create your album and connect your Drive for free. You only pay the one-time fee to unlock your QR code when you’re ready.

How long does the QR code work?

Your album stays open for uploads until 7 days after your event date. After that the QR code stops accepting new photos, but you keep everything that was already saved to your Drive.

How many guests can upload?

As many as you like. There’s no limit on guests or the number of photos.

Is this only for weddings?

No. Couples use it for weddings, but it works just as well for birthdays, engagements, corporate events, and family reunions — any gathering where phones are out and you want the photos in one place.
